supporting parents’ mental health from pregnancy through postpartum

We offer nationwide virtual mental health support guided by a certified doula and perinatal mental health coach to help you navigate this important journey with care and compassion.

Becoming a parent can be transformative – but it can also be just plain hard.

Whether it’s your first baby or you’re welcoming a new addition, the highs and lows of new parenthood can feeling overwhelming, isolating, and full of unexpected challenges. But you don’t have to do it alone.

Find your emotional balance, develop coping skills for when things get stressful, be more present, and feel more confident and at peace with our support. We help with:

Perinatal Blues

The blues can feel like a rollercoaster – one moment you’re tearful and overwhelmed, the next you’re wondering why you’re not happier during this time, the next you’re enraged. And perhaps throughout, you are questioning if any of these feelings are normal. These emotions are more common than you might think, and our paraprofessionals can help you process these intense feelings, regain your calm, and begin to feel more grounded.

Perinatal Depression

Depression throughout this time can feel like an invisible weight, and it does not always look the same. Sometimes it’s sadness or disconnection, other times it’s irritability or loss of energy. Whether it begins during the conception process, pregnancy, or months after birth, it can leave you feeling isolated and uncertain. We can help you feel supported, find your footing, rebuild your sense of self, and explore new ways to increase your joy.

Perinatal Anxiety

Perinatal anxiety is one of the most common challenges new parents face. From strain due to sleepless nights, conflicting advice, feeding challenges, relationship changes, or endless questions about what’s “normal,” it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by worry and self-doubt. We offer compassionate support to help you manage these fears, regain trust in yourself, and feel grounded in your relationships and parenting decisions.

Fertility Challenges

Fertility challenges can touch every part of your life – your emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Month after month, the disappointment can feel isolating and discouraging, especially when others seem to conceive effortlessly. If you’re struggling with fertility challenges, our paraprofessionals can offer you a compassionate space to process your emotions, build hope, and navigate the journey with tailored support.

Marriage & Relationship Challenges

Parenthood can place unexpected stress on your marriage or relationships, leaving you both feeling distant, misunderstood, at odds, or under-supported. It’s hard to communicate the depth of your exhaustion or frustration amidst sleepless nights, shifting priorities, identity change, and new responsibilities. Structured couples’ sessions offer space for partners to communicate needs, reflect on their challenges and changes, improve communication, and rebuild trust and intimacy so you can thrive together.

Rage

The exhaustion and pressure of fertility, pregnancy, and early parenthood can spark intense and challenging feelings of anger. These moments do not define you as a parent or person, but they can feel isolating and overwhelming. We offer you a safe space to unpack these emotions and build practical coping skills to regain control, ease the guilt, and find calm.

Grief & Loss

Grief and loss can weave their way into the reproductive period, in ways we might not expect. Whether it is the grief from losing a loved one or mourning the life you imagined, the pregnancy you hoped for, or even parts of your identity, we can help you process your grief and discover a path to healing.

Identity Change

Parenthood transforms you in profound ways, often reshaping your identity. If you’re struggling with feeling like you don’t know who you are beyond being a parent, missing parts of the life you once had, or struggling to balance your new self with the person you’ve always been, we can help you honor your evolving identity and find confidence and clarity in the next version of yourself.

Birth Story Processing

Every birth story is unique and worth holding space for. No matter how things unfolded and the emotions you are left with, from joy to pain to frustration, we provide a compassionate space to explore your birth story, make sense of your feelings, and find empowerment in your journey.
